- Dave’s ESL Cafe - A useful site for both ESL students and teachers. As well as the usual chat, jobs and bookstore, there is a good ideas page, a 24 hour help centre, lots of activities and of course, links. This site could also be used by basic skills students/teachers.

- EFL cafe - Dave Sperlings web site/cafe/notice board is excellent for people who are interested in any aspect of EFL teaching. It ranges from jokes to Business English to various appointments around the world. One excellent use is obtaining information, you can post a message on the message board, leaving your contact details open for other users to offer advice. You can also log on to its interactive web site for learning English for web site analysis. Excellent for giving and receiving information and advice.

- EFL Worksheets - Eflworksheets.com offers a range of printable worksheets for teachers of English as a second or foreign language. On payment of a subscription fee, users can access over 100 worksheets on a range of topics. There are also 30 worksheets available free of charge, and some on-line exercises. The materials are designed mainly for use by intermediate and advanced level students.

- Englishbanana.com - Sounds a bit odd but is a useful site for learning resources. Although aimed at school pupils I think a lot of the materials woudl be of use for ESOL teachers. Excellent directory of free on line photos.
