- Climbing - the late Babu Chiri Sherpa - Babu Chiri Sherpa born in Takshindu, a village in the Everest region of Nepal. He began his career as a climber at a age of 16. The 35 year old mountaineer had reached the Everest summit 10 times and in May 2001 reached the summit in a record 16 hours and 56 minutes; in 80 mph winds. In May 1999 he spent a record 21 hours on the summit. Everest Climber in the history of mankind.

- Dangerous Site - Rock Climbing in the Peak District - Simply one of the best personal sites about climbing that I have found. Loads of useful information. If you are not interested in climbing I still urge you to take a look. The layout is professional and there is an interesting journal about the sites development for those interested in web site construction. The link is at the bottom of the home page 'site history and awards' - only one award it really deserves more!
