- Kings Science - An excellent set of resources. These include material aimed at KS3 and KS4 revision and a variety of resources for AS and A2 biology teaching. Included are a large number of excellent flash animations which are available for download and later use (use ‘save as’ after a right mouse click). Topics covered are varied (mostly biological) but include enzyme inhibition, the eye, the kidney and ‘body bits.’ In addition to a large number of worksheets, the word and excel sections demonstrate ways to use these applications to produce some subject specific tools, including the use of visual basic. Advanced level material covers: cells, biochemistry and transfers, DNA, physiology and photosynthesis. Finally, there are four well-written lessons, more or less in order of difficulty, which aim to get you started on the use of Flash.
