- Digital Video Pilot Project in Schools - Evaluation - This report covers the Digital Video (DV) pilot project involving 50 schools from across the UK, run by Becta in 2001/2. It will mainly be of interest to specialist teachers and educational theorists: its 92 pages cover the impact of the pilot initiatives on factors such as pupils' engagement with the curriculum, their learning styles, and the degree to which creativity was successfully addressed.

- Guide to Digital Cameras and Digital Video - The 'Short Courses' site covers use of digital technology still and moving images. The free course on digital video provides a mix of information about the context of digital production, a review of different models and makes of DV camera, and guidance on putting it all together. The course does not contain many examples of moving images, so it's not too slow to download. Plenty of links to manufacturers' sites and books you can buy.

- Videography for Educators - This resource is aimed mainly at teachers, and assumes you are already learning the mechanics of iMovie or Final Cut Pro (it is produced by Apple) and are familiar with the fundamentals of operating a camcorder. it covers pre-production planning, setting up equipment, camera and editing techniques.
